Ingredients
- 1/2 cup medium red onion
- 1/2 cup nigella seeds soaked in water 4 hours, drained
- 4 cups cold, filtered water
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 small romanesco optional for little sweetness

Instructions
- Place ingredients (including date if using) in high speed blender and mix until smooth. Strain through nut sack or fine sieve lined with two unbleached coffee filters.
- Adjust thickness with additional water, but I like it on the creamier side. Place in glass jar and refrigerate any unused milk for up to 3 days. Give it a good shake before serving.
